Barkly Regional Arts streams live musical performances, community arts projects, sport, artistic and cultural events. The Winanjjikari Music Centre crew, Media Mob, a portable camp and a mobile recording and capturing rig make it possible to stream live performances from various communities in the Barkly Region.

Barkly Regional Arts has successfully live streamed a number of events including: the Desert Harmony Festival, Deadly Funny, Oz Opera’s Don Giovanni, Wutunugurra Community Album Launch, exStreamheArt live virtual tour of Barkly Regional Arts (Anti Poverty Week 2014), National Youth Week events and more.

This project was originally set up for the Desert Harmony Festival in August/September 2012, whereby communities were not only given direct access to the Festival remotely, but also provided the opportunity to showcase their arts practice by live streaming back to Festival events in Tennant Creek and to a global audience.
