“Its the music! They’re playing drums and accordion and guitars and keys and the people are dancing, all around. They’re playing disco!”

Susannah has painted a euphoric scene with a band playing to a crowd of dancing people, under the sun. A drummer, keyboard player, guitarist and accordion player play music to twelve dancing people.

The scene is painted in Susannah’s signature style where flat narrative works are painted using block figures and bold colours. This style has played a vital for the Tartukula Artists of Tennant Creek, influencing many of the younger painters who work with Susannah.
