Want to learn the art of writing for podcasts from one of the best in the business?
Award-winning journalist and podcaster Kylie Stevenson (Lost in Larrimah) is heading to Tennant Creek in a few weeks’ time with the NT Writers; Centre to run a workshop at Barkly Regional Arts on Sunday, June 16.
With a focus on storytelling, developing/editing your script, and working tension, stakes and suspense into your story, this five-hour session will cover all of the basic skills you need to start writing your first podcast!
You might even decide to pitch your podcasting idea to 8CCC Community Radio after the session.
Tickets are $75 and include lunch catered by Bay Leaf Cafe but a few supported spots are on offer for anyone without the means.
