Chief Executive Officer, Barkly Regional Arts
Barkly Regional Arts is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to join our team here in Tennant Creek, Northern Territory. This leadership role involves overseeing our core programs including the Visual Arts program, the Winanjjikari Music Centre, and our flagship Desert Harmony Festival. The ideal candidate will have experience working with remote Indigenous communities, strong project management skills, and a passion for advancing the arts in the Barkly Region. Volunteer: Desert Harmony Festival 2025
The Desert Harmony Festival, held in July/August is a great opportunity to become part of an authentic outback festival experience.
Volunteers work across several areas including:
- Entry gate
- Artist/performer/crew support for performances and workshops
- Festival spaces support including cultural activities, youth spaces
- Pre-festival set up and post-festival pack down
- Community arts activities
