Welcome to the Barkly Voices Project!
Barkly Voices is an online singing program for people living in the Barkly region of the Northern Territory. Barkly Voices will be an ongoing project. The first online singing collaboration with the song ‘Keep My Culture Strong” is for people of the Barkly region only. However, after this first online audio-visual singalong we would love to expand the collaboration beyond the Barkly. Please stay tuned!

What you need

If you want to submit by smart phone, for best results you’ll need 2 devices:
- 1 smart phone to listen to the backing track.
- 1 smart phone to video-record and submit the file.
[/fusion_fontawesome]Submit using computer webcam…
If you have access to a computer, you can simply use the submission form on the left… However for best results you’ll need:
- Chrome Browser v63 +
- Firefox Browser v50 +
- Opera Browser v65 +
- Safari and Explorer are not really supporting HTML5 properly, yet!
- Older browser versions can use Flash but this is not really recommended.

If you know how to record and edit audio-files or make film-clip you are very welcome to submit as a produced file:
- Be sure to save the file in a common format (e.g. mp4) and use the upload function.

STEP 1: Press play on this backing track and do plenty of practice!
STEP 2: Put your ear plugs/head phones on (this is so you only record your voice and not the backing track again)…
STEP 3: Play the backing track (above) and video/record your singing by pressing the record button (below)…
