Artistic Director
The Artistic Director is a dynamic leadership role which oversees the organisation’s three streams of programming – visual arts, music and media, and events. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the organisation’s public program and with the Operational Director, responsible for organisational leadership and the implementation of the Strategic Plan.
We are seeking a creative and strategic thinker, able to deliver innovative and engaging arts programs. The successful applicant will be a motivated and skilled arts professional with experience working in the Indigenous arts sector.

Multimedia and Radio Station Coordinator
Barkly Regional Arts and 8CCC Community Radio are partnering to offer the right candidate a unique opportunity to work across community radio and digital media in the vibrant Barkly region.
This is a full-time position comprising two part-time positions with Barkly Regional Arts and 8CCC Community Radio. Based in 8CCC’s freshly-refitted state-of-the-art radio station in Barkly Regional Arts’ Tennant Creek headquarters, the Multimedia and Radio Station Coordinator is a dynamic role which will give the right candidate the opportunity to develop and produce creative multimedia and radio content which reflects Tennant Creek and the Barkly Region.

Desert Harmony Festival 2023
The Desert Harmony Festival, held in July is a great opportunity to become part of an authentic outback festival experience.
Volunteers work across several areas including:
- Entry gate
- Artist/performer/crew support for performances and workshops
- Festival spaces support including cultural activities, youth spaces
- Pre-festival set up and post-festival pack down
- Community arts activities
